Clint is passionate about communicating God’s word in a way that is relevant and engaging. He wants to see people come to a greater understanding of God’s unrelenting love for them, and then compelled by that love, live lives as disciples of Jesus.
Clint and his wife Stephanie have 4 sons, Dawson, Kellin, Brennon, and Rylan.
I have been in Children’s Ministry for over 17 years and I absolutely love helping children know how much Jesus loves them and how much He wants to have a relationship with them. I have been married to my husband for 29 years and we have one daughter. My family is usually serving right beside me because they enjoy seeing these kids grow deeper in their faith as much as I do. It is important to me to partner with parents and helps provide them with the tools that they need to raise their children up as fully devoted followers of Christ.
My family and I are excited to be a part of Creekside Church in Midlothian. We are growing and seeking to spread the Word of God through His music. I am a graduate from Dallas Baptist University and have traveled the US playing music for years. I have a calling to play music to Glorify God in every possible way. Every time I play at Creekside I pray that God will use me to uplift and create an atmosphere of worship. To God be the Glory!
Creekside has been my home for 8 years and I’ve been on staff since July 2015. Administration is one of my strongest gifts. Gifts of service is my love language. I love to serve in any way I can and I too appreciate when others serve me. With over 16 years of experience in Church Administration, I feel that God’s gift is being utilized through me.
My family has lived in Oklahoma, Kansas City, and now resides in Grand Prairie, where my dad is the lead pastor at Crosspoint Church of Christ and my mom is a gifted and talented teacher. I have one older brother who lives in Kansas City. In my spare time, I love to play and watch sports (Kansas City Chiefs and Oklahoma State Cowboys – Go Pokes!), spend quality time with others and exercise. I love working through inductive bible studies and reading supplemental spiritual growth books. My all-time favorite movies are the Lord of the Rings and my favorite tv show is the Office.
I’m excited about what the Lord is doing through Creekside and what He will continue to do. Our students have so much to offer: spiritual gifts, leadership, and the love of Christ, among so many other things. As we cultivate this in them, I pray that you will join the staff and me in building up these individuals to be the hands and feet of Jesus to a world that desperately needs them. Be on the lookout for some exciting news coming soon about what opportunities our youth will have this summer to grow, serve, and pursue discipleship.
Larry & Holly McRae
My wife Holly and I moved to Midlothian in 2008 to be near two of our four children and ten of our 12 grandchildren. Prior to retiring, I was the Operations Vice-President for Nexen Petroleum U.S.A. He received his B.S. Petroleum Engineering degree at Texas Tech University and spent his career developing and operating oil properties in the North Sea and the Gulf of Mexico. When he isn’t monitoring the stock market on the computer, he spends time tending to his Black Angus cattle.
Larry’s career periodically required moving his family to different cities where his family served the local church. His family participated in establishing a new church in Aberdeen, Scotland. He has served as Deacon at Singing Oaks Church in Denton, Texas and he has served 5 years as an Elder at Creekside.
Larry and Holly have a deep love for God and His word, and enjoy serving Him and the church at Creekside. They love Creekside and believe this church reaches out to it’s members and serves this community. 1 Peter 1:8-9 expresses their sentiments: “Though you have not seen Him, you love Him; and even though you do not see Him now, you believe in Him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.”
